The 1970 Chevrolet C10 is an iconic and classic truck that has turned heads for decades. Andrew Pappas' C10 has been modified with some serious horsepower, making it a true powerhouse on the road ready to tackle a weekend cruise or corner carve a canyon road.
Under the hood lies a Turnkey Motorsports 525 HP LS3 crate motor, which has been paired with an 800 HP rated 4l85e transmission, a custom driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear end. This combination of parts ensures that the C10 has plenty of power to get up to speed quickly, while still providing a smooth and enjoyable driving experience.
To help control all of this power, the C10 has been fitted with a full front and rear coilover suspension system from Ridetech, along with a Ridetech sway bar. The suspension system has been paired with Wilwood 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes, which provide excellent stopping power.
Other modifications include CVF hood hinges, a new Sikky intake tube on the Holley intake manifold, a GM harness, Classic Instruments gauges, and a Sparc Industries steering wheel. The wheels have been powdercoated in a ceramic grey finish, while the grille and bumpers have been painted in a satin grey finish. The headlights have also been upgraded to Dapper Lighting units, providing improved visibility at night.
Inside the cabin, the C10 has been fitted with LS Fabrication cup holders and GSI Fabrication exterior door handles, along with a custom steering column from Flaming River. The sound system has been upgraded with an Alpine Halo head unit and a custom sound system by Audiotoyz, which includes custom kick panels and a sub/amp under the seat.
Additional modifications include Vintage Air AC, one-piece product windows, LED taillights that are sequential, and a custom relocated gas tank in the bed. All of these modifications come together to create a truly unique and powerful classic truck that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
