Mike Finnegan's 1967 C10

Mike Finnegan 1967 C10

Mike Finnegan isn’t just a gearhead; he’s addicted to anything with an engine. From twin-turbo powered jet-boats to squarebody car haulers, Finnegan is well known in the automotive world. On his hit TV show Roadkill he builds some of the craziest cars with his partner David Freiburger.

Finnegan knows his way around a garage and documents all his builds on his hit YouTube Channel, Finnegan’s Garage. When Mike gets the itch to build something it’s never just a simple restoration or a basic cruiser. Everything he builds has over-the-top horsepower and just screams cool.

'67 C10 Build

Enter his 1967 Chevrolet C10. Most normal gearheads might throw some nice suspension on it to lower it, maybe even LS swap it for some more power and reliability. But like we said, Finnegan isn’t most car folk.

His ‘67 C10 is no exception. Under the hood is a crate LT4 engine which puts out more than 640 horsepower and 630 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is what comes in newer Camaros, Corvettes and CTS-V’s. Behind that killer powerplant is a billet six-speed sequential transmission. All that power goes through an independent rear suspension set up.

Riding on Forgeline wheels, the truck has Mickey Thompson tires along with custom Mittler Bros/MRC Fabrication Hydroshox adjustable suspension.

When the time came for seats, Mike went through a few pairs before he found just the right ones. He wanted seats that looked great but also felt great, and would be comfortable for long drives or around a race course.

Finnegan chose an interior in a box. That includes a set of bolt-in Pro-Classic Universal Sport Low Back Seats and a set of TMI molded door panels. These were both stitched up in a Y-972 Gray Vinyl with a Y-9449 Blue Houndstooth with a white contrast stitch.

All these pieces bolt right in and transform his interior from bland to wow in a few hours. If you’re ready to transform your C10, give us a call at (888) 460-0640
