TMI's Cars and Clearance 2022 Event Recap
Saturday August 20th, 2022 marked the very first Cars and Clearance event by TMI Products. Located in Corona, CA - TMI manufactures interiors for classic and modern muscle cars and trucks. The inaugural event made waves in the local car scene and will only grow from here with its clearance sale.
Starting promptly at 7AM a line of high-end classics started to roll into the parking lot. The level of builds along with the variety was a sight to behold. The parking lot quickly filled up with all the different rides while a few others trickled in throughout the morning.
All the cars were amazing such as @ken’s Boosted Nova, @protouring_nova, @thee_55chevy, @cplump71’s El Camino, @week2wickedjason in his F100, and even the guys from @fitech_efi showed up.
Once parked, participants greeted each other and the bench racing started with tales of burnouts and the latest parts they installed. From there they walked down to the clearance section to check out the parts available along with grabbing a donut and coffee. The clearance section was filled with slammin’ deals. People picked up old SEMA display seats and other display items.
In the middle of the action was TMI’s Research and Development department that had its doors open. This allowed people a glimpse into TMI and what they make, along with what they make. We had a set of original OEM door panels from an OBS Chevy on display that then showed the different stages of production until you saw the finished product. If you looked closely you could see some newer projects being finished as well.
Right outside the R&D department was @tacopaid, one of the best taco trucks in Southern California. All day long he was pumping out amazing tacos, burritos, and even carne asada fries. There wasn’t a single complaint from the food coming out of his truck.
Remember this is a cars and coffee type event with a twist, so there was no judging, awards or announcements; just food, deals, and smiles all around. By 12PM everybody was happy, full, and all the deals were snatched up.
We had a great time at this event and thank everybody who came out. Next year will be bigger and better - we hope to see you there!
